About Us
Based in New York City, LinkLinks VRS (video relay service) was founded in 2002, with the goal of providing the most efficient and accessible video relay service available to the Deaf community.
LifeLinks VRS operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, over high-speed broadband, which effectively turns a computer screen into a videophone. Our video relay service employs state-of-the-art software that allows our
interpreters, who also sign in Spanish, to be seen on the screen in real time with amazing clarity. In addition, our revolutionary technology offers our users teleconferencing capabilities with up to four participants.
We offer our VRS users an easy, convenient way to call friends or family, make a doctor's appointment, call a utility, or even order a pizza! Our friendly video interpreters will respond within seconds to assist you in placing your call.
LifeLinks VRS is accessible from any location which has internet access, even wireless access, thus offering unsurpassed mobility to the Deaf community.
Most important, LifeLinks VRS does not charge for its service.
